What can Soothe Your Soul do for you?
Soothe Your Soul, one of the newest additions to the local Oxford, Michigan business district, is rewriting the rules on how we escape the pressures of daily life. Nestled serenely behind downtown Oxford’s Centennial Park, the business provides a sanctuary from the challenges of life. That escape is right in our own backyard and a Reiki treatment or massage therapy session, for example, can be completed in about the same amount of time that’s needed for lunch.
Long-time Oxford resident Hannah Cornell-Schroeder envisioned Soothe Your Soul from the very beginning as a place where relaxation comes first. As she says, “Soothe Your Soul is the result of many of my dreams coming into reality, our center strives to build community and promote healing and wholeness through a variety of classes, seminars, workshops, services and therapies designed to promote optimal healing, enlightenment, creativity and well being.”
The welcoming nature of the store is unmistakable upon entering the cozy, earth-toned environment. A wide range of carefully selected products are on display, including many made right here in Michigan, meditation CDs, candles, sympathy gifts, healing and decorative crystals, inspirational books, essential oils, handmade soaps, incense, sage and smudging tools, aromatherapy oils, angel and fairy gifts, used books, greeting cards, jewelry, natural cleaning products, environmentally responsible water bottles, SwitchFlops and much more.
Products tailored to answer personal needs are plentiful, but Soothe Your Soul is first-and-foremost a hands-on business promoting healing through a variety of classes, life coaching sessions, seminars, Reiki treatments, classes and share groups, massage (traditional and ashiatsu), workshops, reflexology, nutritional counseling, meditation classes, angel readings and other services and therapies designed to promote healing, enlightenment, creativity and well-being.
Stress relief and relaxation top the priority list for guests, but Hannah’s also fostering a place where a sense of community matters. Seeking to inspire, uplift and empower, Soothe Your Soul enables visitors to explore healing and wholeness with people that understand their needs.
